Poetry
I returned to the sea today,
in search of a part of me,
like blue-green glass floats
drifted away
lost thoughts let loose,
traveled sea-blue rolling
thunderous waves lift worries
sculpt from confused seas -
breathe deep salted breeze -
r e l e a s e
revitalized energy deep within
clear crisp afresh
radiates, inner peace
flows like a battery, charging,
connects vital forces to all life-form
Ocean of life - Grandmother moon
essential machinery
churn and turn shift this anxiety -
alike mothers milk - sustain me.

TREE OF LIFE
(for Dad)
I am like
an old scrub
digger
oak tree
touching raindrops
between
trembling leaves -
digging tentacles
into fertile earth
searching
this rooted maze
in dank darkness
seeking
to refresh and soothe
strained limbs
that reach toward
blue forgiveness.

WILD AND FREE
Brown Earth woman
blanketed in orange
poppy painted dream
remembering when
beloved tenderly
nudged Her Spirit,
meandering mounds
across dales and
deep dark canyons,
roaming lucid and free
brushed with delicate desire
as wild horses screamed.
